The Ribera del Guadiana wine region is situated in the province of Cácerea and covers an area of 24,200 hectares. The Ribera del Guadiana wine region consists of 115 vineyards (Bodegas), which produce 44 millon liter of wine annually.

Vine varieties
Red:
Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Tintorera, Tempranillo, Bobal, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Mazuela, Merlot, Monastrell, Syrah, Piont Noir and Jaén Tinto.

White:
Allarije, Borba, Cayetana Blanca, Pardina, Macabeo, Chardonnay, Chelva (Montua), Malvar, Parellada, Pedro Ximénez, Verdejo, Eva, Cigüente, Perruno, Mosacatel de Alejandría, Moscatel and Sauvignon Blanc.
